ANNUAL MILAN MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
Forming at the American Legion (44 Wabash Street), the day begins with a ceremony for those lost at sea and then proceeds down West Main Street and concludes at Marble Park Ceremony with a special ceremony and 21-gun salute. Concluding the ceremonies, all are invited to the American Legion Hall.

MICHIGAN BREWERS GUILD SUMMER BEER FESTIVAL
The festival is a fun opportunity for people to sample from an incredible selection of more than 120 beers brewed by over 30 breweries, microbrews and brewpubs from around Michigan. Brewery staff is available to make recommendations and answer questions. Food and live entertainment also available. Admission includes drink tokens for samples inside the venue. ANN ARBOR'S CHILDREN'S HOLIDAY PARADE AND TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
ASSEMBLE AT 6pm at LIBERTY PARK PLAZA CORNER OF LIBERTY AND DIVISION DOWNTOWN ANN ARBOR.
Sponsored by the Main Street Area Association and Fantasy Attic Costumes.
Begin the festivities at the Liberty Park Plaza at 6pm by lighting up downtown!!
Meet the Mayor who will pull the switch that lights up the trees lining the beautiful sidewalks downtown.
The sidewalk parade commences at 6:30 from the park. This is a chance for all children and folks of all ages to march (or ride in a stroller!) in a sidewalk parade! Children are encouraged to dress up in costumes. Light wands will be passed out to all the kids in the parade.
Giant animals (courtesy of Fantasy Attic Costumes)will cavort and march along with marchers. Schools, scout troops, children's groups of all kinds are welcome to march as a group.
The 7 block sidewalk parade ends at Main and William where a petting farm and other kids' activities will be waiting for marchers in the Palio lot.
Look for special treats for kids at businesses with the balloons along Main, Liberty, Fourth, and Washington that evening.
No reservations necessary - just be there to enjoy the holiday spirit

CHRISTMAS IN THE VILLAGE
The gala event commences with Santa's arrival Friday evening, a parade along Main Street and the Village President greeting Santa at the Historic Mill. Saturday come explore our shops, sample the fine food of our varied restaurants and enjoy the views of the river in our 19th century village. Our shops will be open from 9:00 until 5:00 pm. A craft show will be held at the American Legion Hall, a cookie walk at teh Manchester United Methodist Church. Lunch with Santa 12:00 Noon at the St. Mary Parish Center and a bake sale and Christmas Table setting display the the Emmanuel Church.

HOLIDAY CLASSIC FILM SERIES
The Michigan Theater offers an early gift of FREE admission to all four upcoming shows in the ALCOS Holiday Classic Film Series. The series begins this Sunday Nov 26th 4:00 pm with "A Christmas Story" can continues with 3 consecutive Sunday's through Dec 17th. Dec 3rd: "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn". Dec 10th: "It's a Wonderful Life", and Dec 17: "Miracle on 34th Street". Everyone will be admitted FREE. The series is sponsored by ALCOS with support from the State Street Area Association. HOLIDAY HOME TOUR- 10TH ANNUAL
The 10th Annual Holiday Home Tour promises more tinsel, a dash of magic and a few surprises. The benefit for Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels begins with The Candlelight Tour followed the next day by the traditional tour. The Candlelight Tour will resemble a progressive party, with home owners welcoming guests to their homes to enjoy refreshments provided by Trader Joe's of Ann Arbor. Homes on the Candlelight Tour and Holiday Home Tours are: 1107 W. Cross St., 845 E. Cross St., 1124 N. Congress St., and 6950 Hickory Run. The Candlelight Tour will culminating with dessert from 8-10pm at the Ladies Literary Club, 218 N. Washington St. The Sunday tour will include a stop at the new EMU Student Center on Oakwood.
Tickets can be purchased at Quinn's Essentials,Mantis Garden Supply, and Haab's Restaurant all in Ypsilanti and Katherine Rose in Belleville. Special commemorative ornament: Features a miniature replica of the old Ypsilanti High School on Cross St. Cost for ornament is $27 and can be purchased during both tours.

MILAN HOLIDAY PARADE
The Annual Milan Holiday Parade will kick off downtown at 6:00 P.M. and bring smiles, thrills, oohs and ahs as floats, bands, animals, cars, firetrucks, clowns and much more lead the way. Santa will be ushered into town by real live reindeer and children will have the opportunity to have their photo taken following the parade with Jolly ole St. Nick. Fire pits, and entertainment galore.

HERITAGE HOLIDAYS AND HOME TOUR
2002 was our first year for the Heritage Holidays. Visitors who braved the cold were treated to historically narrated "Train" rides provided by the local American Legion, historic home tours sponsored by meals on Wheels and a tree lightening ceremony replete with choirs, brass band and soloists at the newly renovated Riverside Plaza.
The Annual Historic Home Tour is an event that showcases many of the architectural treasures tucked into the neighborhoods of Ypsilanti. Tour goers will have the unique opportunity to explore turn of the century homes, each of which has been lovingly restored and preserved. Come experience the rich historic heritage of Ypsilanti!

FRED SCHMID MEMORIAL PARADE
Named for the late Fire Chief, Fred Schmid, founder of Dexter’s Parade, the parade this year will be held at 10:30 am down Main Street and will usher Santa into Monument Park. Participants will line up at 10am at Wylie Middle School. Vehicles, floats, pets and walkers are welcome.
