On October 12, 2024 from 6-9:30 PM, the cackles and dancing will be at an all-time high, and that’s not just ‘witchful’ thinking! Manchester will become the place to be for a spooky night of fun.

What to Expect:

All 'witches' and families are invited to explore downtown Manchester for treats, shopping, drinking, dancing, a silent disco, dining options, games, raffles, and store specials.

  • Business Bingo: Fill your card to be entered to win an awesome prize basket worth $150.
  • Silent Disco & Thriller Dance: Disco begins from 6-8 PM. After the disco, learn the popular Thriller dance.
  • Costume & Witches Cackle Contests: Begins at 9 PM. Prizes given for best cosutmes, and loudest and scariest witch cackle.

Here are a few featured participating businesses. Get to know the shops and what they're offering for this special event.

Dragonfly & Birch

For Dragonfly & Birch owner Merril Guerra, she wants everyone to grab their favorite broomstick and black cat as the shop will stay open late for special fall cocktails, a gift with purchase, and store specials of 30% to 50% off.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming our witches to town.” says Guerra, “Park your brooms and stop into our local haunts for potions, goodies, and to dance under the light of the moon!”

The Sassy Peacock

Kathy LaHaie at The Sassy Peacock shares what this event means for her shop: “My store gets packed, and everyone is loud, and it gets very rambunctious with the witches, but it is a lot of fun.”

“It’s good for Manchester because we are always trying to figure out what to do for businesses.” said LaHaie, “It has become one of my busiest nights and the entire store will be 20% off. This is our chance to do something different for Manchester because it is an old town.”

Millie’s Coffeehouse

Anna Deevers sits down with us and shares how Millie’s Coffeehouse offers delicious drinks and will have aspiring cacklers participate in store-themed activities to earn their bingo stamp.

“We’re going to put together a gift basket and have a raffle for a Millie’s gift card,” says shop owner Anna Deevers. Regarding anyone not looking to participate in the popular event, Deevers jokingly warns “Don’t miss us, or we will put a spell on you.”

River Raisin Mercantile

Along with the store being 20% off, the River Raisin Mercantile will offer the scariest ghouls, goblins, and zombies the perfect photo opportunity by setting up a picture booth outside the storefront, Sue LaRocque shares.

“I always dress in full costume so it will be a fun night.” says LaRocque, “There will be a giveaway and decorations like witches in the window, and coyote skeletons for people to take pictures with.”

Witches Night Out will highlight great deals with River Raisin Mercantile, The Sassy Peacock, Dragonfly & Birch, Millie’s Coffeehouse, and more amazing Manchester businesses.
