Spring in Ann Arbor

What's something you are looking forward to in spring?

Katy: Director of Human Resources
“I am looking forward to getting into my golf leagues in just a few weeks! Not only do I enjoy being outdoors and challenging myself on the courses, but I look forward to socializing with the other league members during the round, as well as afterward at a favorite watering hole like Aubree's or Chela's in Dexter.”

Amy Karbo: VP of Marketing
“I really enjoy going to White Lotus Farms with my kids. We love grabbing a coffee and pastry and spending time walking through the gardens and seeing the baby goats.”

What is your favorite way to relax and refresh this season?

Meaghan: Director of the Ann Arbor Sports Commission.
“I love to run on our trails as a way to relax and enjoy the nice weather – and prepare for many of the great races that Washtenaw County holds throughout the spring, summer, and fall!”

Amy Karbo: VP of Marketing
"A trip to Nichols Arboretum, especially during peony season! Spending an afternoon walking the beautiful paths and taking in the scenery is one of the top ways I recharge my batteries. Nature is inspiring to me, and when I need a reset, the Arb is my go-to."

What are your favorite activities to do around  in this season?

Mike Price: Chief Sales and Operations Officer
"This sounds simple, but I just like walking around the great downtowns across the county and checking out the fun shops and restaurants. We are lucky to have so many eclectic cities that all have a unique vibe. The energy is unique, and so are the offerings in each community. It feels like you discover something new every time you visit."

Katy: Director of Human Resources
“I really enjoy catching some of the University of Michigan women's softball games before their season ends. The teams are always so fun to watch; they chant and cheer throughout the game, and the games are exciting!”

What are some of your favorite parks to visit in the area and why?

Meaghan: Director of the Ann Arbor Sports Commission
“I love taking my kids to some of our favorite parks as the weather warms up! Some of our favorites are County Farm Park, Gallup Park, and Mill Pond Park in Saline. County Farm and Gallup Park are great because of their play structures, and we can go on walks on the trails. We love to go to the dog park at Mill Pond to see the dogs out there playing, and the kids love to play in the creek!”

Mike Price: Chief Sales and Operations Officer
“I love the water, and the Huron River is an amazing asset to the region. There is something calming about the river, so anytime I can visit one of the many parks along the river, it is a good day!”
