Synchronized skating is a sport where between eight and sixteen figure skaters perform together as a team. They move as a flowing unit at high speed over the ice, while completing complicated footwork. Synchronized skating grew rapidly in the late 20th and early 21st centuries and today.
Entry this year will be via EMS. US Figure Skating is finishing up the changes needed for the system to handle Synchro non-qual competitions. EMS will be available on August 15 at 1pm EST. Team rosters, waivers, collegiate certification, and practice ice will be done through EMS. Team Photos, pre-orders, practice ice time requests, Michigan Concussion Law requirements, and any comments will be handled with the Mandatory Team Entry Form which is linked on the Announcement and in EMS.
