Honey bee researcher and beekeeper, Meghan Milbrath (owner of Sandhill Honey) will take us on a journey of how honey is made - from the key flowers to the chemical reactions in the hive. We will look at different honey labels, and discuss what different terms mean (Raw? Pure? Wildflower? Organic? Local?), and we will discuss proper handling and storage of this delicious food. Participants will have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of honeys from all over the world.
