It's nearing the season when many organists perform some of the treasured French Christmas noels. This masterclass will focus on music of the French Baroque era and will help shape your performance of noels and organ masses. As we hear three guest performers, we will focus on interpretation, registration, style and history of French classical organ repertoire.

Leading this masterclass is Jean-Baptiste Robin. He is regarded as one of the most prominent French concert organists and composers of today. With his appointment in 2010 as Organist of the Royal Chapel at the Palace of Versailles, he was secured a place in a long line of famous French organists such as Francois Couperin, Louis Marchand, Louis-Claude Daquin, and Claude Balbastre. He also serves as Professor of Organ at the Conservatoire in Versailles.

Jean- Baptiste Robin is represented exclusively by Phillip Truckenbrod Concert Artists of the USA. Learn more about him on his website: jbrobin.com
