Stop by Found to meet and mingle with maker and cavegirl Katie Bramlage and shop from her expansive collection of handcrafted ceramic goods “washed ashore for the modern cave”. Katie will join us on Friday, October 20 from 4-7pm and Saturday, October 21 from 10am-4pm. She’s bringing a fresh array of ceramic baskets, platters, hammered plates, totems, and more--perfect for your home or that special someone on your holiday gift list!
During her time with us at Found, you can “comb the beach” of Katie’s fired ceramic pieces and make your very own mini-totem with her guidance. $35 each, while quantities last.
About the Artist: Katie envisions her work as "goods washed ashore for the modern cave". Born and raised in the Great Lakes region, she has always collected stories, sticks, and stones. Through the study of physical geology and interior design while spending time out in the Rocky Mountains and Pacific NW, she found her medium, clay. In 2011 she received her BFA with honors in Crafts from the College of Creative Studies and has shown her work in juried art fairs and gallery shows in the Detroit area. Her work is currently produced in her home/studio in Hazel Park, MI and can be found online, at Found in Ann Arbor, and select galleries and shows.
