The Festival will be presented on November 1, 2, and 8, plus a celebration on the 9th, at the Children’s Creative Center in Ann Arbor. An ensemble of 11 actors and 5 directors will present a quasi-radio-play/staged reading of The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus, by Christopher Marlowe, as well as a series of short original plays written over the past year in the Brass Tacks Ensemble’s playwriting group. Each night of the festival will be unique.

November 1 will consist of staged readings of original radio-style plays by Mary Conley, Dorianne Jentzen, Isaac Ellis, Sanders Hamson, and Brian Trippel.
November 2 will be a quasi-radio-play/staged reading of The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus by Christopher Marlowe.
November 8 will consist of staged readings of original short plays based around the theme of “balance” by Mary Conley, Dorianne Jentzen, Isaac Ellis, Sanders Hamson, and Brian Trippel.
November 9 will be a party celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Brass Tacks Ensemble, open to the public.
The ensemble includes Amy Bogetto-Weinraub, Mary Conley, Isaac Ellis, Ethan Gibney, Amy Griffith, Veronica Long, Amber Nicole Price, Katie Parzych, Havah Roussel, Russ Schwartz, Elizabeth Wagner, Alex Wisz, and Laura Yakas.

Performances will be November 1-2 and November 8, 2019, with a celebration party on November 9; Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm at the CCC, 1600 Pauline Blvd. in Ann Arbor. Tickets are Pay-What-You-Want Donations at the door. For more information: www.btensemble.org
