This engaging program will provide a platform for talented local storytellers to share their heart-warming, true-life experiences. These compelling stories will bring laughter, inspiration, and maybe even a few tears. Special guests include emcee Vic Strecher, Ph.D. MPH, Professor of Health Behavior and Health Education in the U-M School of Public Health, and former University of Michigan Men’s Basketball Head Coach John Beilein.
BHS is comprised of five community-supported programs of Michigan Medicine that serve older adults: Ann Arbor Meals on Wheels, Housing Bureau for Seniors, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Silver Club Memory Programs, and the Turner Senior Wellness Program. In addition to the storytelling event, BHS will host a silent auction May 20-June 3 with dozens of exciting items such as gift cards, jewelry, art and more.
