Live virtual event on Friday, January 29th from 5:30-6:30pm. Includes 3, 5oz glasses of wine, which can serve as a "tasting" for 2 or a very fun night for 1!
We are partnering with Elisa Weber-Saintin, founder of Little Guy Wine Company, to host a series of very special wine tasting classes!
Italy is home to 300+ native grape varieties and as many wine types as there are Italian dialects. It’s a great place to begin to explore some new wines, step slightly out of your comfort zone and learn about what makes Italian wine so darn delicious. In this class, you will taste 3 wines and Elisa will talk you through the wines themselves as well as teach you about the mechanics of wine tasting, answering any questions along the way. This event will be casual, yet informative and engaging. A presto!
Each ticket includes:
Three glasses of wine (5 ounces each):
Le Calcinaie Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Tuscany 2019
FUSO21 Walter Massa Barbera, Piedmont 2019
Salustri Ciliegiolo, Tuscany 2018
Wine tasting worksheets

About Elisa Weber-Saintin: Elisa got into wine when she was living in Italy after graduating college, where she began to train as a Sommelier. She soon became the Commis-Sommelier (an apprentice Sommelier) at Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, a 3-star Michelin restaurant with one of the best wine lists in the world. Following her stint in Florence, Elisa moved to Burgundy, France where she pursued her Masters degree in International Wine Business. She worked at the official Burgundy Wine School in Beaune, and taught wine classes and excursions in Burgundy. Fourteen years ago, Elisa decided it was time to return home to Ann Arbor, Michigan and she founded Little Guy Wine Company, a wine wholesale company with a passion for small, dedicated producers of wines that, above all else, taste really good.
