Melissa A. Day Clothing Studio

Melissa A. Day has been thrifting and upcyling clothing for several years. The artistic process of clothing design is gratifying in and of itself; however, she is equally passionate about sustainability in fashion. She relys on locally thrifted items only when designing the clothing. 

Each part of the design process comes from Melissa's inspiration and labor. she selects, designs and crafts each article of clothing. She also hand-stitches each label as well as hand-cut and thread each clothing tag. 

In addition to being a clothing designer, Melissa is a mixed media painter. The inspiration for her clothing label came from one of her paintings. Just as a painting cannot be duplicated, each article of clothing is one of a kind.
