On August 26, 1920, the United States ratified the Nineteenth Amendment, finally granting women the right to vote across the country. This map highlights some historic sites here in Washtenaw County connected to suffrage activities leading up to the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment. Suffrage means the right to vote.
