Smaller family run bakery in downtown Saline. I go for the donuts and soft pretzels on Sat mornings. Always a line because the pretzels go fast! We've also had their pepperoni pizza rolls on Wed that are also tasty. Fast counter service, and you're in and out in a jiffy! Always a good experience at Benny's.Parking: Sometimes, it is difficult to park close due to the farmers' market in the free parking lot behind the bakery on Saturdays in the warmer months. Plan accordingly.
Very friendly and accommodating! They were able to make me an extra large birthday donut for my picky son who doesn’t like cake or ice cream! Not many places make their own donuts and the only other one I found near me that does was not willing to help.
I am now 43 years old and as a child we used to go to Benny’s every Saturday and get Pretzels before Michigan games. My family has long since moved away but my parents are driving through on their way to visit family and told me they were stopping and I think for the first time in my life, I felt actual jealousy. Benny’s is legit and one day I will bring my daughter there for Pretzels on a Saturday…before a game. So happy that Benny’s is still cranking out delicious treats....read full review
