Meaghan Hughes, Director of the Ann Arbor Sports Commission
Q1: What was your first or most memorable sporting event you’ve attended?
Meaghan: “I don’t have a specific event, but I love going to MLB games in new cities when I travel.”
Q2: How would your friends describe your dancing style?
Meaghan: “Elaine from Seinfeld. As a result, I try to never dance, in public or at home by myself! I do not have the moves like Jagger.”
Q3: If you could play any sport professionally, what would it be and why?
Meaghan: “Golf! I love being outside and would love the opportunity to travel to new cities weekly.”
Q4: What is your hidden (or proudly shared) talent?
Meaghan: “Remembering things about people that maybe others would not remember!”
Q5: If you had to choose a theme song for your life, what song would you choose?
Meaghan: “With a Little Help from MY Friends” – Joe Cocker – My friends and family are my support and help make me who I am!

Q1: What was your first or most memorable sporting event you’ve attended?
Zach: “The Detroit Lions vs LA Rams 2023 NFC Wild Card game - the crowd was electric!”
Q2: How would your friends describe your dancing style?
Zach: “My friends would immediately tell me to stop dancing, so I don’t embarrass myself attempting “The Running Man” again, haha!”
Q3: If you could play any sport professionally, what would it be and why?
Zach: “This is always a toss-up – hockey! I’m a huge hockey fan but I’ve never played.”
Q4: What is your hidden (or proudly shared) talent?
Zach: “Getting tickets for popular concerts & events without overpaying!”
Q5: If you had to choose a theme song for your life, what song would you choose?
Zach: "Sunday Best" by Surfaces - It's an uplifting beat and reminds me to ‘feel good, like I should’!

Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan are home to some of the nation’s finest athletic facilities, and the experience was elevated even further by your partnership. The Ann Arbor Sports Commission was an outstanding collaborator – their team was consistently helpful, responsive, and professional throughout the entire event. Their positive attitude and attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
