The American Cornhole Organization, the Worldwide Governing Body of the sport of cornhole since 2005, headquartered in Camp Dennison, Ohio, is pleased to announce our inaugural ACO Ann Arbor Major Tournament to be held at the Fowling Warehouse in Ypsilanti on Friday and Saturday, March 24th and 25th. The event will be both a points-earning tournament for players of all skill levels who will be competing to qualify for the ACO World Championships of Cornhole 18 in July 2023 and a tournament that welcomes the general public for social play registration and competition for prize money.

Frank Geers, Founder and President of the ACO commented: ‘We are excited to explore all that Greater Ann Arbor has to offer and to welcome our players, Pros, and the local community out for what will be a fun weekend filled with cornhole competition and good times that turn into great stories. We expect the competition for the $5,000 guaranteed purse to be hard fought with a great experience awaiting all players for the entire weekend. We are also excited to have local players come out and compete in public events like the Hampton Farms Big Blind Draw, the Bring Your Own Partner Quads tournament and more.”

The event hosts free admission for spectators and welcomes local players to participate. Details on event participation, divisions, ACO membership and more can be found at www.americancornhole.com. Registration for play is directly available at https://americancornhole.ticketsauce.com/e/aco-ann-arbor-23

The ACO Ann Arbor Major Cornhole Tournament is one of 35 Majors held nationwide; all leading to the $75,000.00 ACO World Championships to be held in Owensboro, Kentucky, July 25-29, 2023 where we will crown a new King, or our first Queen of Cornhole Singles World Champion.
