Destination Ann Arbor and the Ann Arbor Sports Commission are thrilled to announce the appointment of Zachary Buck as the new Sports Event Manager. Zachary will bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the team.
Zachary Buck has a broad background in the sports industry, having worked with organizations such as the Detroit Lions (NFL), Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL), and most recently, Playfly Sports. At Playfly Sports, Zachary worked with Eastern Michigan University to manage ticket sales, service, and operations for concerts and athletic events.
Prior to his role at Playfly Sports, Zachary served as Ticket Operations & Service Manager for the Grand Rapids Griffins, where he managed various ticket sales operations, customer service initiatives, and maintained ticketing and CRM databases. He also gained experience with the Detroit Lions, where he utilized AXS and Ticketmaster’s Archtics ticketing software to drive ticket sales and provided assistance in ticket fulfillment and customer service. Zachary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Eastern Michigan University.
