Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA)
After thoughtful consideration, Destination Ann Arbor has made the decision to discontinue the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti Area Tourism Ambassador Program effective August 31, 2026.
For current CTAs, you can keep your CTA status, as it is an individual, industry-recognized certification that you have earned. You will now renew at the Tourism Ambassador Institute® (TAI) International Headquarters level, in the "At Large" category. Remember that being a CTA is an individual designation that is portable—it will always travel with you (as long as you renew annually).
