Rooted in activism, Hash Bash has long been a part Ann Arbor’s trailblazing history in cannabis advocacy. Typically held within the first Saturday of April, Hash Bash has inspired new events that take place all weekend long.

Make the most of your time and use this itinerary for tips on where to dine, have fun, and immersive ways to experience Ann Arbor's cannabis culture.

Thursday: Arrive, Dine, Laugh
 

Afternoon: Grab a Bite

• After arriving at your chosen hotel, grab dinner at a downtown spot like Jolly Pumpkin for flavorful burgers or go for barbeque favorites at the famous Slows Bar BQ.  

Evening: Comedy Show 

• Get tickets for a night of unforgettable laughs with top-rated comedians at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase. This makes a great way to end the evening.
   

Friday: Explore Ann Arbor  

Morning: Hippie Hash Breakfast

• An ideal spot for a quick bite, order the Hippie Hash and fuel your Friday at the Fleetwood Diner. This classic spot has a vibe that’s totally unique to Ann Arbor. 

Afternoon: Elevated Experiences

Evening: Hash Bash Cup

• Taking place April 3-5, the annual Hash Bash Cup at Wyndham Garden will host celebrity guests and showcase top-shelf cannabis at the awards show. Reserve your spot! Buy Tickets. 

Pro tip: Satisfy your late-night munchies with a large slice of NYPD Pizza, open until 3 AM. 

Saturday: Party Time

Morning: Detroit Street Filling Station 

• Head to Detroit Street Filling Station for the best vegan breakfast or browse brunch spots.

Afternoon: Explore your own way

• This is a great time to explore downtown Ann Arbor retail shops, dispensaries, and discover more of what makes Ann Arbor special. Use this free time to explore more of downtown in your own way. 

Evening: Party after dark

Did you know? Historically, activists, speakers, and fellow cannabis enthusiasts have gathered in the U-M Diag at "High Noon", drawing thousands in this famous tradition. 

Sunday: Coffee & Nature 

Morning: Try local Coffee 

• Start at a local coffee shop downtown like Misfit Society Coffee, or choose hand-selected tea from TeaHaus. Then, take a scenic stroll through Nichols Arboretum for a quick nature escape before heading home.
