Local concert venues like The Ark, home to folk and roots music, or the Blind Pig, offering a little bit of everything, are pillars of the live music and concert scene in the area. U-M’s University Musical Society brings in a vast and varied assortment of performers, connecting audiences and artists in uncommon and engaging experiences through the world’s best music, dance, and theater. There is always something new and exciting going on with the fine artists and excited audiences the house brings together.
As you plan your summer getaways and weekends in the Ann Arbor area, you won’t want to miss out on one of the area’s biggest celebrations of performing arts, culture, and community – the Ann Arbor Summer Festival.
