Fall is finally here! Ann Arbor is full of beautiful colors and crisp weather. Bundle up and explore these eight activities to try around Ann Arbor and beyond.
Coffee & Trails
Ann Arbor is the perfect place to blend craft coffee and the great outdoors. Order from M 36 Coffee Roasters or try the Bourbon Maple Latte from Hyperion Coffee. After, head to the beautiful Ann Arbor parks and trails.
Cider Mills & Orchards
Visiting cider mills and orchards makes the perfect outdoor Michigan fall experience. Add the family-owned Dexter Cider Mill to your list, part of the Michigan Ciders Makers’ Guild. More must-visit orchards include Wiard's Orchard and Alber Orchard.
@destinationannarbor It’s cider mill season! Head to one of the many #washtenawcounty cider mills for cider, donuts, apples, and more. #annarbor #annarbormichigan #puremichigan #cidermills #apples #donuts #dextermichigan #dextercidermill ♬ original sound - Ann Arbor
Lunch in the Park
Order pick-up from a nearby restaurant and set up lunch in a close park or garden. We recommend County Farm Park or Nichols Arboretum with open spaces and spacious trails perfect for birdwatching and nature breaks.

For a quiet downtown vibe, grab your takeout and find a table in the Kerrytown courtyard. On Saturdays, explore the Ann Arbor Farmers Market, with vendors selling seasonal goods.
Fat-Tire Biking
Washtenaw County has some serious biking trails! The DTE Energy Foundation Trail offers over 20 miles of top-tier mountain biking track. It’s located in Michigan’s largest state park in the Lower Peninsula, the Waterloo Recreation Area.
@destinationannarbor @mi_playground found endless fun on the trails at the DTE Energy Foundation Trail in @ChelseaMich. Plan your own outdoor adventure in Washtenaw County.
