Day 1

Souvenir Showers

Begin your day in Kerrytown Market & Shops for a unique shopping experience. Found, a shop and gallery is known best for using recycled materials and eclectic collection of goods. Visit Malofta Vintage and the Spice & Tea Merchants while you're here.

Near and Noteworthy

Across from the Kerrytown shops is Zingerman's Deli, known for remarkable customer service and large portions. Dine indoors with your made-to-order sandwich, followed by a cup of gelato at Zingerman’s Next Door.

Movie at Historic Cinema

No matter the weather, the historic Michigan Theater and State Theatre is a fun activity for all ages. Grab popcorn and enjoy indie-darling films or blockbuster releases.

Fine Dining

Nearby, delicious restaurants capture Ann Arbor's diverse culinary scene. Enjoy fine dining with French and New American cuisine at Taste Kitchen for dinner, bringing you the freshest flavors year-round.

Close out the Evening

Keep the evening going at an Ann Arbor underground bar. Dance all night or relax with friends over drinks, play pool at Babs' or go for karaoke night at Rabbit Hole beneath Circ Bar.

Day 2

Embrace the Weather

Rainy days aren't so bad! Start your day with a filling breakfast or brunch downtown, like Afternoon Delight serving a bagel and smoked salmon lox. Top it off with refreshing cup of orange juice.

Downtown Bookstores

The locally owned, independent, Crazy Wisdom Bookstore & Tea Room has plenty to offer in lieu of outdoor recreation, often hosting book discussions and events. We also recommend checking out Literati Bookstore and Third Mind Books downtown Ann Arbor.

Indoor Attractions

From challenging escape rooms, iconic arcade games at Pinball Pete's, to live theatre performances, spend time exploring indoor Ann Arbor attractions and the performing arts.

Museum Visits

A rainy day is the perfect time to visit Ann Arbor museums. Spend the day exploring the Univeristy of Michigan Museum of Art, overflowing with timeless art and history. Bring your umbrella! The Kelsey Museum of Archeology is across the street.

Comfort Cuisine

From restaurants like Pretzel Bell full of charm and decades of Michigan memorabilia, to delicious steakhouses like Knights on Liberty, to international fusion cuisine, Ann Arbor has it all. Make reservations for a late lunch or early dinner.
