The Ann Arbor Art Fair, the nation’s largest of its kind, welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors to downtown Ann Arbor. Artists span across 30 blocks showcasing their artwork, connecting with enthusiasts and the community to celebrate creativity.

Getting to & Around the Art Fair  

Plan ahead! Try these top choices for getting to and around the art fair: 
  • Downtown structures and lots: $18 per day; $9 after 5PM. 
  • Park & Ride: Shuttle to downtown: Free parking, roundtrip $8. 
  • TheRide: Public bus transportation system. 
  • Art-Go-Round: Free autonomous car service by May Mobility. 
  • Cycling: Experienced cyclists can take designated bike lanes.

FAQ  

Is admission free?  
Yes! Free admission, though the art is for sale. All are welcome to the Ann Arbor Art Fair.  

Are dogs allowed?  
The pavement can be excessively hot in July. You’re encouraged to leave dogs at home and bring them a special treat from the fair.  

Is the art fair kid-friendly?  
Yes! Expect family-friendly programming and things to do including an art activity zone. 

Will there be food at the fair?  
Attendees are encouraged to visit Ann Arbor restaurants, but some food vendors will also at the fair. for food and drinks to go. 

Are downtown shops and restaurants open during the art fair?  
Yes! Browse eclectic Ann Arbor shops and make your dinner reservations for downtown dining. Participating restaurants also provide extended street patios.
