Things To Do

Though many events bring out locals and visitors alike each year, the town’s biggest draw is the annual, multi-day Saline Celtic Festival, held in July. This large celebration was inspired by Saline’s longstanding Sister City relationship with Brecon, Wales, and it’s been a beloved local tradition since 1996. (Plus, this link with Brecon also gave rise to the phenomenal Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic, a youth fiddling show band that’s not to be missed!) Visitors might also enjoy Saline’s many parks (with boat launch ramps), take an artsy stroll around Saline’s Sculpture Walk, or learn more about local history via the Weber-Blaess one room schoolhouse; Rentschler Farm Museum; and Depot Museum & Trail.
